HISTORY OF THE ASSOCIATION
...since 1996 in Brescia
The sports association was founded in 1996 by true enthusiasts.
In the same year of founding, an international invitational tournament was created: the LAMPO CUP, a competition reserved for 14-year-old athletes.
The association originally carried out its activities at T.C. Bettini, in the historic center of Brescia, and then moved to Cover Tennis, where it developed its institutional activities (introduction to the sport of tennis, pre-competitive and competitive activities, reserved for registered members) until 2006.
2000
Having established contacts with the Moroccan Federation, which participated in the Lampo Cup that year, coach Giovanni Capacchietti carried out no less than four internships in Casablanca, two at Le Coc (Club Olimpique Casablancais) and two at l’Acsa (Association Cultural et Sportif Aeroportuel).
It was a great success both from the technical point of view and in terms of participation. For 28 days the best under 12, 14, 16 and 18 had the opportunity to train with different methodologies from those used at the capital.
It was during that period that Gianni Capacchietti received the nickname “L’Italien.”
2001
After an invitational tournament held in Franciacorta, with the participation of Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Slovakia and Croatia, the idea of the NATION CUP, an under-12 youth competition reserved for European national teams, was born.
Numerous international initiatives are launched:
